There will be peak periods when you will need to put in a little extra.<\/p>\n<p>Conversely, we understand that there will be times when you need a longer lunch, or to leave early to attend a personal appointment and offer flexibility around this.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;How would you describe the culture at William Buck?&#8221;]William Buck offers a dynamic and fun environment. Our people work hard and enjoy spending social time together.<\/p>\n<p>We place a great deal of emphasis on ensuring we employ people who \u201cfit\u201d. This means that everyone enjoys each other\u2019s company and the team works in a supportive manner. Team members inevitably develop close friendships with their colleagues, which is demonstrated by employees choosing to socialise together outside of work hours.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;What is the work \/ life balance like at William Buck?&#8221;]We believe in \u201cwork hard \/ play hard\u201d. If you work consistently during the core business hours and achieve the things you need to during the day, you should go home and enjoy your life outside work.<\/p>\n<p>Naturally, there will always be deadlines and peak times which will require a little extra effort, but this will be balanced out by periods when you are less busy and can manage your workload within core hours.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;How is my performance reviewed?&#8221;]We conduct formal performance reviews every six months, during which your performance is assessed in line with the William Buck competency framework. However, your work is constantly being reviewed and you will receive feedback on a day-to-day basis.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;What training and development programs are offered?&#8221;]Training is an integral part of what we do to ensure all our people are performing to the best of their ability, so we offer in-house training across a range of areas.<\/p>\n<p>We support the Chartered Accountants Program. You will have a degree, which provides you with the theory. Your induction program will provide you with all the necessary information for you to make a start in your new role.<\/p>\n<p>We provide regular in-house training in specific areas, such as tax.
