Fausto Pastro relocates from Melbourne to establish William Buck Sydney.

 1991

1991 Nikolas Hatzistergos joins Fausto on 24 June and the journey begins.

 1992

Inaugural National Directors Meeting Held at the Sheraton Hotel Melbourne and attended by Fausto Pastro and Nikolas Hatzistergos.

1993

William Buck joins TAG International, which later merges into AGN International in 2002.

 1994

Anna Carrabs joins on 3 August and establishes the Tax Services division.

 1996

William Buck International Inc. is established and becomes the owner of all William Buck Intellectual Property.

 1998

Inaugural website is launched.

 1999

Lynda Clark joins the firm as General Manager on 1 November.

 2000

Spring & Co merge with William Buck on 1 January – Graham Spring joins as a Director in the Business Advisory division.

 2001

The team, now at a total of 36, move from 456 Kent Street to Level 24, 201 Elizabeth Street in June 2001.

 

In July Brown Evans & Co merge with William Buck.

 

In December William Buck acquires Lean Cameron & Co.

 2002

Hardwick Keen & Co merges with William Buck.

 

The Directors Award for Excellence is established – George Khalil is named inaugural winner.

2004

 In June John Spender (joined 5 October 1993) and Greg Travers (joined 19 April 1999) become William Buck Sydney’s first home grown Directors.

 

Leo Tutt is appointed as an Audit Partner on 13 September.

2007

The team of 78 move to their new office at on levels 28 and 29, 66 Goulburn Street on 15 April 2007

 

Scott Harrington appointed as a Director in Business Advisory on 2 July.

 

Paul Collins appointed as an Audit Partner on 3 September and established our connection with Mazars.

 

William Buck becomes the Australian representative firm for Mazars.

 2008

Manda Trautwein joins as a Director on 27 October, establishing the Corporate Advisory Services division.

 

Greg Bonthorne joins as a Tax Director on 4 August.

 

2009

Robert Whitton joins as a Director on 14 April, bringing his team with him from Lawler Partners to establish an Insolvency practice.

2010

Domenic Quartullo joins the firm as Director in the Corporate Advisory Services division on 27 April.

 

Stephen Rooke is appointed Principal in July after joining as a school leaver in February 1996.

 

William Buck is named the fastest growing firm in the Top 20 by BRW.

2012

Siobhan Sellick joins the firm as Director in the Business Advisory division on 6 August.

  Gateway Partners merge with William Buck on 6 August bringing their team with them – Abie Greengarten and Gil Abras join as Directors in the Business Advisory division and BarbGateway Partners merge with William Buck on 6 August bringing their team with them – Abie Greengarten and Gil Abras join as Directors in the Business Advisory division and Barbara Newton as a Principal.
