Rising star appointed as Director at William Buck

By William Buck

Accounting and advisory firm William Buck has promoted Andrew Barlow to the position of Director within its leading Wealth Advisory division.

It is the second promotion in two years for Andrew who joined William Buck in 2013, initially as a senior paraplanner, and last year was appointed to the position of Principal.

“Andrew is an exceptional member of our Wealth Advisory team,” William Buck SA Managing Director Jamie McKeough said.

“As well as having strong technical skills, his total dedication to achieving great results for our clients never wavers. Andrew has clearly demonstrated the skills, attributes, values, genuine empathy and enthusiasm to be a leader within our firm and one of the youngest Directors in our history.

“It’s a rapid but thoroughly deserving rise and in line with our mantra of identifying and rewarding ambitious and talented people based on performance and attitude, regardless of age.”

Andrew specialises in providing investment management, superannuation, retirement and wealth accumulation strategic advice. He is also a member of William Buck’s Investment Committee, providing insight and views on asset allocation and investment decisions that are applied to client portfolios, generating solid returns for investors even in uncertain economic times.

Andrew’s appointment is also reflective of the growth of William Buck’s highly successful Wealth Advisory division, which is the largest in South Australia with its own AFSL. The 27-member division, headed by Director Adrian Frinsdorf, has more than $1.3 billion of funds under advice.
