William Buck has made three key appointments at its Adelaide office.
South Australia’s largest locally owned and operated accounting firm has appointed a new Director and two new Principals to start the 2022-23 financial year.
Cain Meschiati has been promoted to the position of Director within William Buck’s growing local Business Advisory team.
In his role, Cain will work closely with clients, focussing on trustee services and managed funds as well as continuing his work within property advisory and equity fund services.
Alistair Taylor-Spry has been promoted to the position of Principal within the firm’s Audit Division while Brad Weidenhofer joins William Buck as a Corporate Advisory Principal having previously worked as a manager at the South Australian Government Financing Authority, KPMG and Ferrier Hodgson prior to that.
William Buck Adelaide Managing Director Jamie McKeough congratulated the trio on their appointments and promotions.
“Cain joined us as an under-graduate accountant in 2008 and over the years has proven himself to be an exceptional advisor and leader,” Mr McKeough said.
“Cain’s dedication to his clients and colleagues in addition to his outstanding technical skills clearly meet the high expectations we have of our Directors.
“Since coming to William Buck in 2015 Alistair has become a highly valued member of our audit and assurance team, taking on increasing roles and responsibilities within the firm.
“We welcome Brad who joins our corporate advisory team with more than 20 years’ industry experience including leadership roles across the public and private sector.
“South Australian businesses are facing a complex global and domestic outlook which presents significant challenge and opportunity. We continue to invest heavily in our people at William Buck to ensure our clients have the most skilled, experienced and understanding advisors in their corner to help navigate the years ahead.”
“Effective from this month, the new appointments take the total number of Adelaide-based Directors at William Buck to 23 within a 200-strong local workforce.”
