With a collaborative style and driven by curiosity, Amar provides a unique perspective to his clients by being receptive to new ideas or ways of doing things, as long as they are supported by sound reasoning.

Taking satisfaction in learning new skills has led Amar across a wide range of career paths. He qualified as an Electronic Engineer before becoming a Chartered Accountant, working in different sectors ranging from financial services, telecommunications, and oil and gas, before moving to Australia to re-join the audit profession. Working in finance roles for very large organisations led Amar back to public practice where he could work on a range of issues with a variety of clients adding value in a fast-changing business environment.

Amar’s experience lies in audit, financial reporting, financial instruments, and big data with expertise across mining and energy, not-for-profits, technology, property, private business, and ESG. Having a focus on big data, and using technology to improve financial processes, Amar heads the local IT focus group driving innovation and aligning firm and client shifting needs.

An approachable, original thinker with a mind buzzing with ideas, and questions, Amar welcomes the opportunity to solve challenges, brainstorm ideas or mentor others to help them realise their potential.
