“I have always dealt with my clients like I deal with my family. I believe I cannot advise and guide them without knowing everything about them.

Babis Mavrakis

Director, Business Advisory

Developing strong relationships and getting to know his clients personally is at the centre of Babis’ approach to his work. “It allows you to provide better advice because you take into account not only their business, but also their lifestyle goals. I’m proud to say that I’ve built many friendships over the years with my clients”.

With a deep understanding and knowledge of business processes, Babis is constantly on the look-out for new opportunities for his clients, particularly when there are changes in the tax or business landscape. He takes a deep responsibility for his work, and strives hard to avoid failure so “both he and his clients can sleep soundly at night”.

Babis’ experience spans a wide variety of roles including working in commerce and at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), where he was responsible for conducting the first GST audit on behalf of the ATO in South Australia.

Since 2000, Babis has been in public practice and has created a loyal and diverse client base including property developers and investors, manufacturers, wholesalers, information technology and health professionals.

He’s a strong believer that you cannot “pretend to care” and delivers a genuine and considerate approach to clients.
