Trien has had an extensive career in both Biomedical Engineering and Accounting which has led to him becoming an expert accountant specialising in the healthcare industry.
From a refugee background, Trien has a deep respect and appreciation for individuals who strive for innovation and who embrace challenges as learning opportunities.
Trien has owned and managed both a family-run general practice in the health sector as well as his own accounting firm which enables him to have both an empathetic and holistic view of an individual’s aspirations and goals within the healthcare sector whist applying an accounting ethos.
Trien is passionate about helping the next generation of both young medical and accounting professionals and encourages them through mentorship and learnt life-experience.
Trien holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electrical and Electronics from The University of Adelaide, a Masters in Accounting from The University of South Australia and is also a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).
