To meet a growing demand for our audit and assurance services, William Buck is pleased to announce the internal promotion of Ross Burt to Director, Audit and Assurance – based in Victoria.
In these challenging times, the role of the auditor is more critical and complex than ever, and Ross’s appointment to director responds to the firm’s strategy of growing and evolving our audit capabilities across Australia and New Zealand.
Nicholas Benbow, Head of Audit at William Buck, VIC said that Ross’s promotion recognises his strong relationship-based approach with clients and his technical excellence.
“Driven by a desire to be considered a trusted advisor to his clients, Ross’s pragmatic approach and objectivity enable him to find solutions to even the most difficult of dilemmas.
“Ross’s expertise has been sought by multinational groups across the ASX, due in part to his ability to work across complex environments. We are honored to welcome him to his new leadership position as director,” said Nick.

Ross brings to his new position 20 years of audit and financial reporting experience predominantly gained from the Big 4, with his professional experience spanning several industry sectors and various reporting GAAPs.
His appointment takes the total number of Victorian-based directors at William Buck to 27, within a strong local team of over 200 professionals.
