By understanding the industry, you know what impacts their business and you can deliver greater value.

Paul Copeland

Partner, Business Advisory

Having owned many small businesses within different industries, Paul excels when tackling complex problems and issues. Always thinking outside the square, Paul uses his entrepreneurial and creative flair to help businesses work through issues and negotiate solutions that fit their needs, not his. For Paul, it’s important to embrace the client’s industry, to learn what their key issues are and understand their work. ‘I try not to be compliance focused like most accountants; by understanding the industry you know what impacts their business and you can deliver greater value’, he says.

Paul has extensive knowledge in relation to the Medical and Dental industries, covering all areas of general and specialist practices, assisting them with their accounting, tax and business advisory requirements.

An active property developer himself, Paul also has a substantial client base of individuals and corporations in property development, advising them on commercial and taxation issues as they relate to the Property industry.

Through his strong network of referrers and business partners, Paul is able to provide his clients with invaluable specialist knowledge in their industries. He is often sought after for advice by members of the Australia Medical Association – Queensland and different property seminars and networks across the state on different issues.
