William Buck is continuing to investigate a recent cyber incident which impacted some data primarily relating to our NSW office.
We can confirm that the incident has been contained, our systems are secure, and we are directly liaising with those clients we believe to be affected by this. Should our ongoing investigation confirm any further impact to data, we will directly notify affected clients in line with our legal and professional obligations.
We would like to assure our clients that an injunction remains in place which prevents access, sharing, or dissemination of the data impacted by this incident. We continue to work with the relevant government agencies in response to this incident and have also notified the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
We are also aware of an interruption to the delivery of some emails between 8 April 2025 and 17 April 2025, and ask clients to directly contact their client relationship partner should they not have received a response to an email sent during this period. We would like to thank our staff, clients and broader stakeholders for their understanding and support as we have worked to respond to this incident.
