“Be genuine, be practical, and never settle for second best.

Greg Travers

Managing Director

Greg’s passion is seeing his clients succeed. He enjoys what he does because “I can bring a unique set of skills to the table and really help clients to solve a problem or grab an opportunity.”  Combining specialist tax expertise with accounting and business skills, Greg has a rare ability to cut through complex issues and communicate them clearly.

For some clients Greg is their “tax guy” whom they can rely on to deal with all aspects of the increasingly complicated tax system.  For others, he plays a broader role, project managing transactions, assisting with overall business activities, or helping to plan for personal financial objectives. Whatever role he plays, Greg’s genuine interest in his clients’ success is the cornerstone of his work philosophy.

Greg’s tax expertise and 20+ years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant enables him to work with clients to deliver practical, commercially focused outcomes , whether it’s a technical tax matter or a broader business issue.

Greg works side by side with clients as they establish, grow and sell their businesses. He helps overseas businesses as they set up and operate in Australia, and assists Australian businesses who are venturing overseas. Greg’s experience with Australian and overseas businesses, combined with his commercial and tax knowledge, make him ideally placed to successfully advise on and project manage the key transactions for his clients.

Recognised as one of Australia’s leading tax advisors, Greg has assisted countless businesses, individuals and families to deal with the often difficult situation of an ATO or State Revenue audit. He also works with clients on a pro-active, planned approach to reduce the future risk of an audit. Greg’s strategic outlook for his clients, which incorporates tailored tax advice, private rulings and other strategies targeted to optimise their tax position, has achieved truly exceptional results.

Ensuring that his clients receive advice relevant to the context of their business and the broader situation, Greg’s expertise has made him a leader in his field; a published author and regular conference presenter.
