To meet elevated demand for its restructuring and insolvency services, leading mid-tier accounting and advisory firm William Buck has welcomed Rashnyl Prasad to its Parramatta office as Director, Restructuring and Insolvency.

As the number of Australian companies entering into external administration is on the rise, the need for high-quality restructuring and insolvency services is increasing across the country.

William Buck’s Restructuring and Insolvency practice, which has established a reputation for providing valuable advice for financially distressed companies and individuals, is growing with the addition of a new director to its Paramatta practice in NSW.

Joining William Buck from a big-four consultancy, Rashnyl is a well-regarded restructuring practitioner with over 13 years’ experience working with distressed companies.

Sean Wengel, Director, Restructuring and Insolvency at William Buck said Rashnyl’s deep knowledge of the middle-market and client-centric approach make him an obvious fit for the firm.

“His background of helping clients to identify vulnerabilities and respond swiftly for favourable outcomes will enhance our ability to provide outstanding restructuring and insolvency services,” added Sean.

“Michael Brereton and I are delighted to have Rashnyl on board to continue the growth trajectory of our Restructuring and Insolvency division and assist in developing our emerging leaders within the team.”

Rashnyl holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Macquarie University and is a member of both the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association.

His appointment takes the total number of NSW-based directors at William Buck to 46, within a strong local team of over 200 professionals.
