Australia

“Whatever you are doing, wherever you are, being present is the most important thing.”

Chris Leahy

Director, Business Advisory

Chris’s unique blend of commercial and professional experience has seen him steward the finance functions of privately owned international companies across five continents as CFO and Statutory Director.

With over sixteen years experience in the accounting and finance industry, Chris has been helping businesses and their owners in Melbourne since 2016. He enjoys working closely with family-owned businesses and assisting them along their business journey to maximise the after-tax returns from their businesses and investments, and to achieve their personal and professional goals.

A career highlight was working as the CFO of a greenfield development in Central Africa, which employed over one thousand local employees and invested millions of dollars each month into the local community, tangibly changing the lives and prospects of marginalized and impoverished communities.

With a love for the high seas, Chris regularly sails in Melbourne and the Gold Coast, and has competed in two Sydney to Hobart yacht races as well as many other offshore races. As in sailing, Chris appreciates that in business, teamwork is paramount to success. It is through genuine teamwork with his clients that he helps to achieve the best results for all.

Outside of client work and building strong relationships, Chris enjoys mentoring and helping to provide genuine career opportunities for the next generation of accountants and advisors.
